Optometrist

Dr. Jared Sies grew up in a small town in central Illinois. His mother was a social worker at the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired and Dr. Sies learned from a young age about the importance of visual health, and how to care for those struggling with special visual needs. Starting his career in optometry in 2010 manufacturing lenses and eyewear, he pursued his education at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas earning his undergraduate Golden Key Award. He graduated from the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry with his Doctorate of Optometry in 2023.

Dr. Sies is now a proud member of the team at West Texas Eye Associates in Lubbock, Texas. In his free time, he is an avid reader, book collector, and gamer.
